Hello everybody! Here is a new little song for this week's songwriters challenge. This week the theme "Because We Can" is a very positive theme so once again I am just making the title to the new song "Because We Can"

Thank you @meno @luzcypher and @passion-ground for making this so much fun for everybody. I see how many great players and singers there are in this contest and so I decided to go more acoustic this time. I am really not much of a singer and more a guitar player, but even though the key center is a little to high out of range for my voice, I will try and sing my new song as best I can. Because we can ... choose the way we live
the blessings we receive come from ... everything we give

Because we can ... shine our spirit's light
it's everything we need to make ... everything all right

we pray for peace and hope thanking ... everything above

Well there's a lot of people don't have any food to eat
we're gonna have to help them to survive ...
When we give love to the people in the streets

When you're feeling small if you share your love you'll be standing tall
When you take a stand you're an answered prayer and a helping hand

And there's no precious time to waste away because it's gone ...
We need to lend a hand to our fellow man ... because we can ...
