in #openmic3 years ago

Dear friends! It is my participation on steemit open mic week 99.

Today I share with you part of the series "Estudios Sencillos", today "n15", wrote by the cuban composer Leo Brouwer (1939*), a set of twenty pieces of pedagogical character divided into four series with five studies. The first series (1 to 5) is from 1960 to 1961, the second (6 to 10) of 1962, and the last two series (11 to 15, and 15 to 20) composed between 1980 and 1981.

this work written in the 1980's, is characterized by the rhythmic and lyrical character, tonal language which differentiates them from the first series (composed twenty years earlier). Technically explore the counterpoint control, pull-offs, hammer-ons, and fixed positions.

Tecnicamente explora o controle do contraponto, ligados, e posições fixas.

I don't play guitar, but I find your academic related sharing, because though it may sound a bit straight, maybe, such as 'theory' feels or sounds, it also shows sensibility, I mean, almost as it were been made purely as a personal art expression.

Thanks for the comment! There is always an equation of the composer's intention with f the interpreter with that we try to combine, merge, and equalize. This is the quest ;) Thank you again!
