Steemit Open Mic Week 103- Anibal Augusto Sardinha "Garoto" (1915 - 1955) - Jorge do Fusa
Dear friends! It is my participation on steemit open mic week 103.
Today i share "Jorge do Fusa" by the brazilian multi-instrumentalist and composer Anibal Augusto Sardinha (1915 - 1955) "Garoto".
Born in 1915, Garoto had his professional life linked to the "Golden Age" of Brazilian radio, between 1939 and 1941. He was a soloist in bands such as "Bando da Lua" accompanying the singer Carmen Miranda (1909 - 1955) in his concerts in the United States.
In the 40's he performed in the orchestra of the National Radio of Rio de Janeiro under the direction of Radamés Gnatalli (1906 - 1988) and already in the 50s formed the "Trio Surdina". However it was through his compositions for solo guitar that most of his musical production arrives to our ears.

His works today surpasses the frontiers of Brazil and is executed worldwide by the instrument's interpreters and students. Explore the boundaries between concert music and Brazilian urban popular music. In them we find sophisticated harmonies of jazz or French impressionist music blended with the popular Brazilian genres, such as choro, samba, waltz and chansons, with a writing typical of concert music and fluent for the guitar.

Queridos amigos! Eis minha participação no steemit open mic week 103.
Hoje compartilho "Jorge do Fusa" do multi-instrumentista e compositor brasileiro Aníbal Augusto Sardinha (1915 - 1955), o "Garoto".
Nascido em 1915, Garoto teve sua vida profissional ligada à "Era de Ouro" da rádio brasileira, entre 1939 e 1941. Foi solista do "Bando da Lua" acompanhando a cantora Carmen Miranda (1909 - 1955) em seus concertos nos Estados Unidos.
Nos anos 40 atuou na orquestra da Rádio Nacional do Rio de Janeiro sob a direção de Radamés Gnatalli (1906 - 1988), e anos 50 formou o "Trio Surdina". No entanto, foi através de suas composições para violão solo que a maior parte de sua produção musical chegou aos nossos ouvidos.

Seus trabalhos hoje ultrapassam as fronteiras do Brasil e são executados em todo o mundo pelos intérpretes e estudantes do instrumento. Exploram os limites entre a música de concerto e a música popular urbana brasileira. Nelas encontramos harmonias sofisticadas do jazz ou da música impressionista francesa misturadas com os gêneros populares brasileiros, como o choro, o samba, a valsa e as canções, com uma escrita típica da música de concerto e fluente para o violão.
