The Joropo is the most representative genre of Venezuelan music and the Pajarillo or Pajarito is the one that has the most strength and character, one can hear especially in the states of the ranger like Apure, Guárico, Barinas, Cojedes and Portuguesa. But he also plays, sings and dances in the rest of the country. It is the Joropo called blow because it is played in compass of 6/8 and by its particular form and characteristic of playing in the Venezuelan Cuatro. Usually played with harp, maracas, cuatro and electric bass But you can also supplant the harp by any melodic instrument to perform solos with specific patterns of this song and improvisations that the instrumentist wants to play.
The pattern of this Joropo is tonic-fourth and dominant, and with these three chords they make wonderful and incredible melodies. This week I bring a Pajarillo in Dm, its pattern is Dm-Gm-A7.

Pero también se toca, canta y baila en el resto del país. Es el Joropo llamado golpe porque se toca en compás de 6/8 y por su forma y característica particular de tocar en el
Cuatro venezolano. Generalmente se toca con Arpa ,maracas, cuatro y bajo eléctrico pero también se puede suplantar el arpa por cualquier instrumento melódico para realizar solos con patrones específicos de este canto e improvisaciones que el instrumentista desee tocar.
El patrón de este Joropo es tónica - cuarta y dominante, y con esos tres acordes se hacen maravillosas e increíbles melodías. Esta semana les traigo un Pajarito en Dm, su patrón es Dm-Gm-A7.
