Steemit Open Mic Semana 108. Tamborera N°9 San Benito (cover mandolin)
Un cálido saludo musical.
La gaita tamborera o simplemente tamborera es un género musical que se origina de la gaita de tambora y los Chimbangueles a San Benito. Este ritmo tiene su nacimiento en el año 1970 gracias a Nelson Martínez y al grupo Gran Coquivacoa. Es un género que se ha popularizado y se le han incorporado elementos musicales armónicos contemporáneos.
Los instrumentos utilizados en la tamborera son los siguientes:
Tambora de gaita, consiste en un cilindro con un parche de cuero en uno de sus extremos con tensores de metal y percutidos con dos baquetas de madera.
El furro o furruco. De parecida construcción a la tambora pero se toca con una vara de bambú o varilla de carrizo larga que se coloca en una guía del cuero y se frota con las manos para sonar de una forma muy particular haciendo las veces de bajo.
La charrasca, consiste en un cilindro de metal de unos 15 Cms de largo, con canales en sus cuerpo para que el ejecutante pueda deslizar una banqueta de metal sobre el cuerpo de la charrasca.
Maracas, un idiofono conocido ampliamente por todos.
El cuatro venezolano. De la familia de los cordofonos. Afinación A-D-F#-B.
Luego se fueron adicionando el bajo eléctrico, el piano, la guitarra electrica y posteriormente viento metales.

The gaita tamborera or simply tamborera is a musical genre that originates from the gaita de tambora and the Chimbangueles a San Benito. This rhythm was born in 1970 thanks to Nelson Martínez and the group Gran Coquivacoa. It is a genre that has become popular and contemporary harmonic musical elements have been incorporated.
The instruments used in the drum are the following:
Tambora de gaita, consists of a cylinder with a leather patch at one end with metal tensioners and percussion with two wooden sticks.
The furro or furruco. Of similar construction to the drum but is played with a bamboo rod or long reed rod that is placed on a leather guide and rubbed with the hands to sound in a very particular way doing the times of bass.
The charrasca, consists of a metal cylinder about 15 Cms long, with channels in his body so that the performer can slide a metal bench on the body of the charrasca.
Maracas, an idiophone widely known by all.
The Venezuelan cuatro. From the Cordophone family. Tuning A-D-F#-B.
Then the electric bass, piano, electric guitar and later brass wind were added.
