Open Mic Week 45 - "Nessun dorma"
This aria from Giacomo Puccini's Turandot is very famous and my dad used to sing it when I was a child. He still uses to sing it and, as tonight we are going to celebrate his 70th birthday, I decided to download the chords and see how it sounds on guitar.
I enjoyed playing it so much that I decided to share it on Steemit and in Open Mic Night.
It's not Luciano Pavarotti's version...it's @cryptofarmer's version. I hope it will move you at least as much as it moved me.

Grazie, sei troppo gentile! Ho scelto la classica perché è quella di qualità migliore e ha un suono migliore rispetto alla acustica che ho. Tutto sommato, ci sta bene con quest'aria di opera. Hai mai partecipato a Open Mic? E' un bel contest!
No, ma sto pianificando di farlo in futuro. E' tantissimo che non canto e suono insieme. Grazie per il suggerimento, lo stavo giusto tenendo d'occhio da un po' quel contest!

Per favore dai un'occhiata al mio video per open mic week 45. Questa è la seconda settimana che partecipo e mi sento un po' fortunato.

E' molto difficile cantare un brano così restando sè stessi e non cercando di cantarla come chi l'ha cantata in maniera così straordinaria. Eppure sono convinto che la musica sia qualcosa di vivo e bisogna continuare a riproporla e non farla restare ferma nel tempo come un monumento.
