OpenMic songwriters Challenge week 4 - Just Because We Can
Hey Steemsters. Finally managed to scrape together a tune for this weeks songwriter contest ..... unfortunately Im not quite enough of an awesome jazzman to pull it off in the way I imagine in my head so as usual Im resorting to distraction techniques..... but just try to imagine that Im someone really cool, probably with sunglasses and smoking about 15 cigarettes at once. You know the sort....

MASSIVE respect to everyone who's managed 4 weeks in a row so far! Its not easy right? I thought last week felt hard and then this one came along.....its turning in to a sort of creative endurance test! I don't know about all you guys, but its taking up a fair portion of my creative focus each week. I keep getting nominated for the black and white photo challenge and my whole spirit just withers at the thought.....
Mega appreciation for the judges too, you guys have got some other whole crazy challenge on!

The Shiving of zombies is a must, especially on Last of us :)
I totally agree with the endurance test analogy, but the pushing through and getting to the other side each week is SO rewarding!
I'm finding it difficult to believe that I've written 4 songs in less than a month!!
I know, its pretty cool! Im just prone to whingeing but Im actually super enjoying the push and just loving sharing it with everybody, its so much fun!
I was reading over the first two lines when the song came on, well I did not expect that! I thought of a cute afternoon-sex love song but then the zombies appeared, hilarious. 'Turn up the brightness 'cause I'm working on my tan' That's what British people do, right? You have amazing entertaining qualities. I always hear your wife calling 'Baaaaasil' from the front desk of Faulty Towers.
YES! That IS how we tan :D :D haha! Glad to entertain you geena :) my teachers used to shout 'baaaaasil' down the corridors at me when I was in high school......the joke just never ends :S
