¿Qué tal, Steemians? ¡Aquí está mi participación para el Steemit Open Mic de esta semana! Para esta ocasión les traigo algo que aún no había utilizado para mis performance en el concurso: mi pedal Looper.

La canción del día de hoy es “El Alma y El Cuerpo” del grupo “Bomba Estéreo”. Hace un par de días me encontré con una presentación en vivo donde el guitarrista utiliza un Looper para grabar un riff que se mantiene constante y que le da una vibra distinta al tema.

Por mera curiosidad, intenté recrear lo mismo con la función de Looper de mi pedal multi-efectos, ¡Y funcionó! Quedó muy similar a como él lo hace. Luego, intente grabar el segundo riff de guitarra más repetitivo de la canción, y el resultado fue el mismo. Así mismo, seguí probando con una línea de bajo inventada dentro del mismo tono de la canción, y la verdad, salió mejor de lo que esperaba.

Al darme cuenta que tenía prácticamente toda la canción grabada con el Looper, enseguida busqué un ritmo percusivo que fuese lo más similar a la batería original del tema. Escuchando un poco el resultado, pensé: “Listo, ya tengo toda la canción, solo falta la voz”, y al mismo tiempo: “Pero espera, yo no sé cantar jajaja”. Entonces, no me quedó más remedio que improvisar y poner a cantar a mi nueva guitarra. ¿El resultado? Esto:

How are you, Steemians? Here is my participation for the Steemit Open Mic this week! For this occasion I bring you something that I had not yet used for my performance in the contest: my Looper pedal.

Today's song is "El Alma y El Cuerpo" from the group "Bomba Estéreo". A couple of days ago I came across a live presentation where the guitarist uses a Looper to record a riff that stays constant and gives a different vibe to the theme.

Out of curiosity, I tried to recreate the same thing with the Looper function of my multi-effects pedal, and it worked! It was very similar to how he does it. Then, try to record the second most repetitive guitar riff of the song, and the result was the same. Likewise, I continued to try a line of bass invented in the same tone of the song, and the truth, it went better than I expected.

When I realized that I had practically the whole song recorded with the Looper, I immediately looked for a percussive rhythm that was as similar to the original drum of the theme. Listening a little to the result, I thought: "Ready, I already have the whole song, just lack the voice", and at the same time: "But wait, I do not know how to sing hahaha". Then, I had no choice but to improvise and sing my new guitar.
