Chris Cornell : Police Report Details Singer’s Final Hours
The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office ruled Cornell's death a suicide by hanging. Soon after Soundgarden’s concert ended, at 11:30 p.m., Cornell’s bodyguard Martin Kirsten said he accompanied the singer to his hotel room to help fix his computer and give him two Ativan “which victim takes for anxiety,” the police report states. Soon after, Cornell and Vicky spoke on the phone, with the singer slurring his words, admitting he may have taken too much Ativan and repeatedly saying “I am just tired” before abruptly hanging up.
Following that conversation, Vicky Cornell called Kirsten to check on her husband. Despite having the key to Cornell’s room, Kirsten couldn’t open the door because it was latched. Kirsten then called hotel security, who told the bodyguard that they could not let him in the room because he wasn’t authorized to enter it. Despite security’s refusal to assist, Kirsten then kicked open Cornell’s hotel door. The bedroom door was also latched, so the bodyguard again called hotel security before ultimately kicking open that door. Upon inspecting the bathroom, Kirsten found Cornell “laying on the bathroom floor” with blood running down his mouth and a red exercise band around his neck.
According to TMZ, Cornell fastened the band to a carabiner that had been lodged into the doorframe, leaving indentation marks. Just before 1 a.m., paramedics entered Cornell’s room, removed the band from his neck and attempted CPR on the singer, who was not breathing. A doctor who later came to the scene pronounced Cornell dead at 1:30 a.m. Chris Cornell’s wife Vicky issued a statement speculating whether his suicide was the result of too much anxiety medication. A medical examiner has confirmed after autopsy the singer 'hanged himself' .
The 52-year-old spent time chatting to fans and posed for photographs outside the Fox Theatre following a packed gig on Wednesday night with his bandmates. Video of his final gig appeared to show Cornell in good spirits, joking with the crowd and even chatting about his upcoming show which was set for the next Friday . Cornell was said to have behaved 'absolutely normally' spending several minutes with fans and warmly greeting them after the show Wednesday night. The 52-year-old told fans 'I love you' as he was escorted from the front of the Motor City's Fox Theatre from a door near the main box office. He wished them luck, posed for selfie photographs and told some he would see them in Columbus, Ohio Friday night.
The blood of Chris Cornell shown in the scenes of death photos proves murder according to some ?
he Detroit Police Department released photos from Cornell’s hotel room where he hanged himself with an exercise band. Some of the images show blood stains, which led blogs like The Metal Den to assert that was a sign of foul play. In addition to the blood, the police department’s pictures also showed some of Cornell’s belongings that were in the room, in addition to the prescription medication the rocker took. There were three bottles: prednisone (anti-inflammatory), omeprazole (antacid) and lorazepam (anti-anxiety).

As to whether blood stains are common during the death by hanging the Metal Den claimed that it indicated a "very disturbing fact". They cited an article of scientific research on autopsy findings in cases of strangulation by hanging and ligature. Page 65 of the study, published in the Journal of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine in 2013, read as follows:
«Saliva dribble was present in 38.37% of hanging cases but not in all cases of ligature strangulation. Bleeding of the mouth and nose in all cases of strangulation of the ligature, but only in 1 case (1.16%) of hanging. Facial congestion and cyanosis are present in 34.88% of hanging cases in all cases of ligature strangulation.»
That apparently proves Cornell’s death was a homicide, cites a Detroit police scanner audio that is now supposedly missing, according to Detroit News. Patient did have an exercise rubber band around his neck, suggestions of possible strangulation, trauma to the back of the head, history of depression.

Advice for stars attempting to expose evil. Though it's hard to pull it off because everyone you're collaborating with MUST remain quiet until the project completion. Make the documentary confidentially. Don't let on that you're doing anything out of the ordinary. Have the doc released on the net anonymously but have a warning that in the event of your death/assaultor family/friends death, slander, extortion or any other harrassment MORE info with perps' names will be released worldwide by secret associates. Think like a quarterback in football. Does he yell to the other team what his intended strategy is on the next play? No.
