The Mystery of the Raining Coins: My Meme Entry for the Paranormal ONSTELLAR Contest
We have all heard the stories of it raining unusual things, such as: raining fish; raining frogs; raining blood.
Even purple rain, and incidents of it raing cats and dogs and men!
Some even report it raining 'Angel Hair' after experiencing a UFO sighting.
Today we can add a new phenomenom to this list: A raining of Coins.
And the showers have been bountiful indeed!
The 'coin rain' is confirmed as a world-wide occurrance, with many mass sightings.
Media reports indicate that crowds become frenzied with what has been described as ressembling a 'gold fever'.
These paranormal and unprecedented rainfall events are always associated with sightings of a mysterious craft with, what appears to be the word 'ONSTELLAR', adorning its hull.
Scientists have calculated its path of trajectory as 'heading for the Moon'.
A close examination of the coins reveals there to be 2 types.
One inscribed with the letters 'ONST' and the other etched with the word 'STEEM'. Mysterious, indeed!
What makes this mystery even more inexplicable is the known fact that 'steam' always rises, yet here we have the first recorded cases of 'steem' falling...Wow, explain that!
Excuse the pun, but the newly coined term to describe this unique phenomenom of 'coin rain' is an 'Airdrop'.
