Hi There.My name is Mohd Eryque living in the land of hornbills also known as Kuching,Sarawak . 2/1/18 was indeed a meaningful moment for me .I was selected to have my internship in Brooke Dockyard.Brooke Dockyard is one of the most oldest shipyard in Malaysia .But as for now Brooke Dockyard is currently more into fabrication of Offshore Platforms .Petronas,Shell and Murphy Oil are few of their clients .Currently ,there are 3 projects situated in Brooke Dockyard .There are E6DP-A,ANJUNG and Bokor . 3 of these projects includes fabrication of the Topsides and Jackets .So for that reason safety is one of the main concern for any projects in Brooke Dockyard nor any yard in the world.As A trainee SHO or safety and health officer .It is my duty to ensure that all safety related at the yard are implement to avoid any unwanted events and Lost Time Injury due to any accident cause by the Works and the Workplace Surrounding/Environment.so stay tuned for more stories from me .This is based on my own experience .still in a learning basis and hope to share more stories.
