Ke Xu’s Letter to the ONO Community April 12, 2018

A lot of what we are doing is translating from Chinese to English and giving the international community information directly from Ke Xu, founder and CEO of ONO. With the international launch of ONO coming up later this month, there is still a lot we want to share about the vision of ONO and its founding principles.

We have been busy translating documents, and wanted to share one of Ke Xu’s letters to the ONO community, which occurred on April 12, 2018, a few days before the launch of the Adventure version of the ONO dApp. Keep in mind, this letter was originally written about 3 weeks ago, so the numbers are reflective of the past, not present. As of today there are over 140,000 registered accounts in ONO.

Here is Ke Xu’s letter she wrote to the first generation ONO users on April 12, 2018:

I Am Ke Xu And I Am Very Glad To Meet You

2018–04–12

Hi, I’m Ke Xu. This is my first day of conversation with you and I am very glad to meet you. As early as 2016, I planned to build the ONO social network. Today, it is finally here, and is ready for you to experience.

ONO will be the world’s largest free and decentralized social network and is committed to creating a new system of attention and value. We think the value belongs to you, the people.

The work we have done so far is:

The WeChat community is now comprised of 10,000 people.

The Telegram community is comprised of 23,000 people.

Attracted global volunteers from North America, South Korea, South Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, Russia, China and other countries.

Attracted content creators from Steemit and Medium.

At present, we have finished the Android and IOS version and look forward to meeting you on April 15.
