IF YOU THINK YOUR SITUATION WILL NEVER CHANGE: A SHORT MOTIVATIONAL STORY:

in #only3 years ago

There was a grown elephant in a jungle that used to be freely roaming here and there in the jungle. The elephant had a family too. They were all happily living in the jungle with other animals.

One day two circus people entered the jungle in the search of a grown elephant for their circus. They saw that elephant roaming around the jungle in search of food. And they started keeping track of the elephant. One day, when the elephant was alone, they trapped him in a big net. Elephant tried hard but unable to come out of that net. Those two circus people then started training him and kept tied him with a rope. Months after months, the elephant kept trying to come out of the trap and rope but failed every time. Slowly by slowly, the elephant believed that he cannot escape i.e. he is not capable of getting out of the rope. The elephant accepted to be a prisoner and stopped even trying again.

The reason was he believed that his situation will never change. Instead of believing his own strength and power, he chose to believe his negativity. This is what is happened to all the elephants in the circus. However, elephants are considered the strongest land animal, as they can carry up to 9000 kilograms, which in turn equals the approximate weight of 130 adult human beings. His top running speed is 40km (25miles) per hour. This is the speed that rivals even the fastest humans. Also, the elephant trunk consists of over 1,00,000 muscles.

The question is when elephants are so powerful, then why they chose to be stay tied with the ropes in the circus. The answer is that they didn’t believe in their inner power and capabilities. And their mind created those ropes bigger than them in the mind which made him believe that ropes are more powerful than him. Hence, he chose to surrender and after some time stopped even trying to run away from the circus.

Moral: Many times we feel like our problems are much bigger than our faith, power and strength. We believe our problems are permanent and it’s impossible for anything positive in it. We feel hopeless and helpless at that time. But we need to trust that No matter what the situation is, nothing is permanent in life. Change is the greater truth. Trust the process of life. Good times will come soon. Have faith in God.

God bless you, friends!
