To begin with, at the moment OnLive has an operational prototype of a platform which is based on the special equipment for transcoding and retransmission. In the future, this platform plans to integrate ONL tokens onto the platform. After that, a fully decentralized and an autonomous platform model will be developed. This model will create an open market for computing resources which is necessary for the further development of the platform.

Other plans of OnLive for this year:

• developing of marketing activities which are connected with the functioning of the platform;
• attracting a critical mass of users and broadcasters in the UK and the US;
• looking for the transcoding partners from all around the world;
• launching the new versions of the website translated into many languages;
• expanding its activities in various new sectors in order to increase the number of users and broadcasters;
• creating the mobile version of the application for the private module "one-to-one" which will be available for both iOS and Android;
• starting to use smart contract in real time.

Some information about its token and ICO

OnLive has created its own token, called ONL. Tokens play an important role because, with the help of it, the users can pay for the work of transcoders and transit nodes. Another function that token performs is settling accounts with content suppliers. Pre-ICO was conducted from 22 January until 22 February 2018. The main ICO has already started 11 March and will end 11 April 2018. All amount of unsold tokens will be burned.

Everybody is able to register for participation in a token if he or she is interested in it. But all potential clients must be sure that they have the right to participate in a token sale in their jurisdiction. It depends on if there are not any restrictions of the country or region of which they are residents.
