Setting goals is the foundation to success in any task, business, daily livestyle and steemit. Many of us set goals of becoming a high reputable steemian with a lot of steem, steem power and steem backed dollar (SBD). This is a good one I must say, I also have my own goals for everything I do including steemit.

I have noticed that staying motivated when it comes to the respond you get on your post either through upvote or rewards can sometimes be a daunting task for newbies like me.

Achieving success on steemit is based on three things which are

• Writing good contents

• Creating your own followers that trust you

• Consistency

These are the smart ways of achieving your goals here, but only a few steemians put in a lot of hard work into these smart ways. Seeing steem(it) as a thing you do when you are free, would not help you make this goals. You have to decide what is truly important to you and what you want for yourself, and then implement a plan to achieve it.

There are so many steemians that do not sleep that long because they want to accomplish their goals on steemit. I have a goal and I’m focused on achieving that goal. Focus is a vital key to success as hard work alone might not guarantee you being successful.

Let me share my lay down plan on how I tend to achieve my goal on steemit

STARTING RIGHT

I do not believe in long sleep. Like I always say, it is not how long you sleep but how well you sleep. So to that, I always wake up from bed daily when my 4:30 AM alarm rings. I do my daily devotion, then go straight to my system, check my mails, check my steemit blog for replies, I get some writings done on my notepad then I go jogging.

PLANNING MY DAY

I love the old saying “failing to plan, is planning to fail”. So I work out my plans on my plan book. I arrange how I want my day to be. What I want to achieve and how I plan to achieve them.

PRIORITIZING MY PLANS

Every of my activity for the day is important, but while planning my day, I prioritize my work. I put some on major and others on minor (steemit is a major priority for me).

AVOID DISTRACTION

When I’m doing anything I make sure I’m not distracted. I put my phone on vibration should In case there is an urgent call I have to pick. My plans are my business and I take my business seriously.

DO IT WELL

There is one policy I love and that’s “the do it well” policy. I try my best to make sure that I do everything I want to do well and to perfection.

BUILDING MY STEEMIT COMMUNITY

As much as I want to have a high upvotes, I also need to build my followers list as this people are the ones that will readily see my posts when it leaves the new page. My steemit page is my community and to build a strong community I need to follow people and also get followers.

ASSOCIATE WITH PEOPLE AND CREATE THE RIGHT NETWORK

I make friends and build a strong relationship on steemit with steemians I do this on a daily bases through steemit chat and on busy.

TAKING A BREAK

I love to take breaks when I feel I’m not getting it right or it looks as if my head wants to explode. I can take a walk, go to a café, or do something else like watch a movie.

The above things I do are really great, they help me a lot. Above all there is something I do not do and that is saying negative things about my deeds. I try my best to be as positive as possible.
