ANIME DRAWING CHALLENGE : ONE PIECE CHARACTER THEME - ENTRY - My Monkey D Luffy!!!
I am a super fan of this long time running anime series, that’s why when @antonette informed me that there is an ongoing One piece anime drawing contest I get so excited to join.
- I have a huge interest in arts but I am not that talented when it comes to drawing and painting, but because I love One Piece and I can follow instruction with sketches, I still wanna join.
I know for the fact that there are a lot of our fellow Steemians that is very good in drawing, painting and a like, but I am here not just to show my little “trying so hard” talent but also my love for my favourite anime.
Because I don’t have that natural talent with drawing actual faces, I chose Luffy’s picture as a “chibi” character or Luffy as as kid because this one is a lot more easier to draw.
I also did watch Youtube videos before doing this and also followed a step-to-step guide using the How To Draw One Piece app. So with all the photos here, you are going to see those steps that was showed.

I dont have enough material so trying to improvise 😂😂😂
Starting off with Luffy's head, I used 5peso coin as a guide to draw his head, mongol pencil no. 2 and an improvised ruler using spoon handle 😂😂😂

These are the materials and tools I used.
Starting to give Luffy life with colors. I used crayons and Colored pen and sign-pen for the black lining.
And here is my finish product. Though is doesn't look very much the same, I am so happy with the final result.
