This is huge and I totally agree. I go to AA and share there; in fact I did it tonight to share about a personal situation I’m struggling with right now. I don’t know what I would do without that pressure valve.
Funerals definitely make us think about our life. I used to get depressed years ago and talk therapy helped me a lot. I have learned how to deal with my issues now and rarely get depressed anymore, but sometimes I still get anxiety attacks.

Yes it is and sometimes its a very hard thing to do. But sometimes not talking about it could be worse.

Thanks man. Always good to see other guys out there showing vulnerability. As men especially its important that we remember we're not Islands, there is always someone willing to help, even if its a health care professional.
Finally, I agree that there's nothing like a funeral to help give some perspective on what's really important in life.
