Happy Mid-Autumn Festival, a festival the Chinese celebrate!

Forgive my not-too-natural appearance in the video, I am still getting used to appear before the camera :P I kept trying to upload this video before midnight last night but I kept failing.

It was Mid-Autumn Festival yesterday, also known as mooncakes festival. It falls on the 15th of the 8th month of the lunar calendar and many Chinese would celebrate it. It is also my sister's Chinese birthday.

Our family doesn't really celebrate it but the mooncakes are good to have. We usually receive them as gifts and this year I bought some too, couldn't resist the beautiful appearances of some.

We had just some family time while watching the children had fun with the lanterns. The moon was full moon last night. We even had an encounter with a man who sold tid-bits where the children went to have some treats.

Mooncakes festival was celebrated a lot in my side of the family where my mom would cook special and extra spread of food. I do miss home but I also learn to have fun with the people I am with now.

The children had a blast running around and had to have a second round of bath after that.
