@fruitdaddy I disagree with you. That is absurd, this is a platform that will more than likely be an alternative to YT. Let's not downplay the versatility of this platform
I agree that the major flaw in my theory is that I might be underestimating DTube potential. I was also thinking more in a <5 year time frame, not >5 year time frame, but that was probably because I need keep in mind how massive the upside potential is.
@fruitdaddy definitely not trying to hate on you or anything, but I think that we're jumping the gun here. The fact that it is a decentralized platform makes me think that you are correct - there will definitely be a market for D.Tube based videos just as there is with YouTube based videos and YouTube - but I think that also this platform has so much potential for more than just that. I apologize if I came off brash
