The team USA Olympians were wearing $1000 pair of Ralph Lauren Limited addition Olympian gloves at the opening ceremony in the winter Olympics.
I was like “dam, I got to get those gloves”.

All kidding aside these US Olympians pay for their own food and training and a lot of them are in major debt. Other countries pay all of their athlete's expenses.
