Oslob Old Church in the Province of Cebu

Oslob old church also known as Nuestra Senora de la Immaculada Conception was one of the oldest churches in Cebu City and it was gutted by fire years ago leaving only the spanish architecture but when I visited the place it was reconstructed already thru the effort of the concerned locals.

Inside of the old church in the front you look at of the altar,the big table color like a gold,the chair they same gold clipping and also the tabernacle in the front. In the above of the altar look there are so many saints one of the saints is the Nuestra Senora de la Immaculada Conception.

Many parishioners wept upon seeings the ruins of their century old church which was gutted by fire in Oslob town, about 117 km south of cebu city. The first was in 1942 when filipino guerillas burned down the church.

Immaculate Conception Church in Oslob Town is one of the must see historical structures in the municipality. The writer had the opportunity to see the structure and took photos for memory sake as well as for this site. Southern Cebu can be heaven for heritage enthusiasts with all the century old churches and heritage.

The town of Oslob is one of the cebu province to the most tourist attraction and tourist distination for the foreign and local people. There are many people to going in Oslob town to seeing and playing the whale shark.Ride the boat going the little island in sumillon to seeing the whale shark below for the sea water some people to go there playing the whale shark some people did not scared the whale shark.

The tour guide reminding the tourist people do not playing the whale shark because they can cause the accident. If you can see the whale shark do not swim below the sea water only stay the boat because the tour guide did not allow them to swim.
