OIKOS; A PROJECT OF MANY CAPABILITIES IN THE CRYPTO-SPACE
As we sail through this period of complete isolation and free time, I deemed it necessary to intimate us on a new & promising project called Oikos. Oikos is a unique project that offers a fundamentally decentralized cryptocurrency exchange that works on the basis & principles of the Tron blockchain. Oikos is poised towards infusing the DeFi peculiarities into the existing Tron network, the DeFi can best be described as a truly decentralized finance, it's a concept that give cryptocurrency owners the rare privellege to base on their own preference recreate traditional financial instruments within a fully decentralized architecture.
ABOUT OIKOS PROPER.
Oikos is simply a Tron-based synthetic asset platform that offers an on-chain exposure the to stocks, fiat currencies, indices and commodities. All synthetic assets (Synths) are duely backed (collateral) by a commensurate Oikos Network tokens (OKS) all locked within the confines of a smart contract. The synth provides tracking for the different assets thereby making it possible for the duo of unbanked users and crypto-native to trade a peer to contract (P2C) kind of trading on the Oikos exchange with zero limitations.
The Oikos exchange on the other hand offers a very convenient & highly interractive interface for users best experience, it's developed with the consciousness of exclusivity of spot market rate. Oikos is bridging the age-long gap between most traditional financial set-ups and the emerging world of cryptocurrency via the duo of issue and exchange systems.

Of cause risk is an essential part of every system, regardless of how effective it might be, Oikos recognizes this risk due to the fact that it's still very much an experimental project with near-perfect complex systems requiring concerted empirical observations and grand theoretical analysis. The risk holders could face for staking their OKS & mint Synths.
Debts can fluctuate due to the unpredictable shifts in exchange rate within the system.
Price fluctuations can occur due to factors outside the OKS or Oikos system.
Also the system still has some semblance of centralization like the proxy contracts in it's architecture, although this feature exist to provide easy upgrade & level of control to the engineering team and it will be phased out in no time.
MITIGATING MEASURES.
Because Oikos is a decentralized protocol, the Oikos team is fully committed to complete decentralization & censorship resistance measures, Although attaining this will not be sudden but gradual in crucial areas like price feeds. Currently their are makeshift collaboration with decentralization providing set-ups like chain link.
Regular community governance process has been initiated to ensure the alignment of project goals and community goals, there is also the advent of SIP ( Oikos improvement proposals) to ensure effective change identification and management by all stakeholders.
