Why WTI Could Crash In The Coming Weeks
Oil prices have one of the greatest impacts on the global economy. Over the next couple months, we could see demand for the "black gold" diminish more than 1%. This could push prices down to $65 a barrel.
The reason many expect this is that the refiners are pushing to get in alignment with the Maritime accord that seeks to cut global shipping emissions in half by 2020.
There is one wild card in this. Hurricane Florence could mean that the thirst for oil in that region vanished in the short term but increase significantly once they begin to build.
