OFF GRID WATER STORAGE TANKS
These are photos of our neighbor's off grid water storage tanks. Whereas we have our own private well, our neighbor does not. They have a natural spring that flows year round and are using what is called a water ram to pump 100 feet uphill to these tanks.
This water ram uses the natural flow of the water to self perpetuate water flow pressure for pumping it uphill. The excess water is discharged downstream to a pond where another neighbor uses it. It's amazing this goes on 24/7 with NO electricity! We have hiked these hills when the tanks were totally frozen over and yet continued to pump. Their home is downhill from these tanks, and they monitor them by having a bird bath filled from the overflow. This is how they determine if there is an interruption in the flow of water.

Recently built a ram pump, haven't had a chance to install it yet, pretty amazing free energy pump.
Very amazing, and the nylon repair parts last about 5 years and are cheep and easy to replace!🤗
