Property Description :
10 acre parcel with the original farm house and a 2 story barn lends to the ability to raise livestock. The back half of the property is tillable and could boast a crop to sustain your self and animals. This 3 bedroom 1 bath home has great potential for anyone with a love of the outdoors. Just a 5 Minute drive to downtown Central Lake and Bellaire and 15 minutes from East Jordan.
Yes, for that price the house needs some renovations and TLC but for 10 acres and proximity to Torch Lake it’s a good deal. The Michigan winters are long and cold but spring, summer and autumn are beautiful.
My Great Great Great grandmother (Chippewa/Shawnee) is from Mackinaw Island in the Upper Peninsula, Michigan so I would like to return there some day. Not yet though ….
This 10 acre property would make an excellent homestead.

Torch Lake is so awesome. I lost my GoPro there last year.
It’s incredible.
One of those lakes would be a great place to have some land right on it as well. There are tons of lakes up there. That water just seems so much cleaner than the water in Indiana or Ohio. Especially if it is heavily spring fed and away from a ton of farms. I always find these islands in the middle of the great lakes interesting as well.
It's a beautiful area! I set one of my novels in the Bellaire area, and have one scene where I try to describe Torch Lake--but you really have to be there.
