Old solar and wind footage
I made this video about 8 to 9 years ago.
Just showing my shed that had no grid power at the time.
So I installed a small wind generator and a Solar Panel on a homemade sun tracker.
What was not shown at the time was a home-made circuit for the wind generator dump load which went to a bank of lights.
Which was not really needed as the wind generator was very inefficient,and we were not in a high wind area at the time.
Thought you might find it interesting.
The Bush Block Homestead power system will be a bit more advanced than this setup :)
Is this still operational today?.. Anyhow great initiative sir, everybody of us should search and install alternat power sources like solar and hydro ...
Not operational today,that was at our old place a few years back.
