Carnivores or carnivores (sometimes called carnivores) are plants that derive some or most of their nutrients (but not energy) from the confinement and consumption of animals or protozoa with more emphasis on insects and other arthropods using their own organs (which vary from plant to plant) . Like all other plants, they produce their own food by converting light energy (the sun) into chemical energy (in the presence of water and some elements), but it has mutated organs that enable it to capture some insects and small animals and then prey on them to be an additional source of food.
