I would say the model you have of acquiring whitelisted authors by curating first and then allowing them in is a good model but managing post bids past hf21 with thousands of whitelisted authors is going to be a challenge.
As you rightly say, bad habits and laziness can kick in once you've "made it in" so I'm happy there's a stance being taken. Good call on the min bid now with the linear convergent thingymabob, what is it, 16 STEEM minimum post payout for something to happen (that's as far as my understanding got before my eyes hazed over with the technobabble on Hf21).
Either way, I reinstated my delegation as I believe ocd has the right approach with it. Well done, keep it going and let's hope we see some collaboration with curation guilds and the vast supply of Steem bid bots have.

Thanks for your trust with your stake, we'll try our best it will be put to good use and if not there will always be free flags now which we will take into consideration if they often land on certain users.
I'd like to think flags would be given for genuine reasons about over bidding or low effort or spamming and I think on the whole, that's how flags are used but of course, we have seen bad examples of them being used in personal battles which is an inevitable part of online fighting, especially when you have humans involved.
I'm staying optimistic long term but expecting turbulence short term, first month or two, will sit back, put on the hazmat protection suit and watch the potential nuclear flag war unfold 😎

I think off-steem life right now is probably a good thing given your current situation but I'd recommend you delegate some of your SP to ocdb so when you come back, your STEEM pot would grow more than just steem's interest rate.
At least you know they curate good quality before letting people use their bot AND you're supporting curated content whilst getting a bit back in the process. Let's get you above 1k hey!
