What is happening on steemit❓ -SadBear🐻🎮📷🚀💲📌📍
Hello stemmians❗👻, today I bring you a new post in which we are going to talk about something very different from what we are used to seeing in my usual publication topics, and yes as many will know lately on the platform some things have been happening in which I would like to give my opinion, that said let's start this little post ❗🐻💲
As some will know or as others since most of the information I have seen is in English rather than in Spanish, steemit has been involved in a fairly large controversy because Justin Sun founded the TRON cryptocurrency platform and the Actual BitTorrent CEO has given a "coup d'etat" to the entire steem community, Why ?, well for this we must remember that in previous news justin sun announced on his twitter that great news was coming for #tron, this was on February 4 of this same year bone 2020, this great news was nothing more and nothing less than an alliance between the steemit blockchain all this was seen on February 14 and the objective of this alliance or association was to generate more value for individual users, in addition to that this association also resulted in a migration of Steem Token to the Tron Blockchain.
But not everything is rosy since from this it was that the problems really began since not all the community was happy with this association, since the role of steemit or its direction based on the future has been discussed several times in the past also with certainly equally controversial results at times, there was growing concern throughout the steemit community around us until we finally reached the point where we are currently, since many feared that tron would have a very large control or power over the steem blockchain network, This is how on February 24 an important part of our network tried to maintain the independence of the steemit blockchain, and it is here that it was learned that this rescue option itself had a very controversial detail, which in a nutshell was that of that Tron and Steemit were excluded from the decision, since as some know and others not Steem or Steemit is a blockhain based or that works around a government that in turn works through the delegated participation test, which is commonly known as the famous "witness", and as you are probably thinking this delegated participation is measured based on the Token that we all know which allows us to do all our operations and be able to publish our content which is the SP O Steem Power, and being excluded from this decision this wants to say that Tron and Steemit were declared invalid in this election.
However, things begin to get even more diffuse when it is finally known that Tron voted against this soft fork with steem power from Poloniex, Huobi and Binance, a total of 42 million Steem Power tokens, that is, a really large balance and with a high level of value, following these exchanges to this election with the help of the three exchanges mentioned above, Tron and Steemit were able to decide on a hard fork, this means that again the Tron and Steemit Tokens were again declared valid, through this hard fork, of this informed Cryptocurrency.
All this has led to an alleged suspicion that this hard fork looks like an act that leads to a coup d'etat on the blockahin by Justin Sun, among other data it is known that as part of the fork, 20 of the token producers The largest in the community, they were removed from their respective office, and that the power of the token producers was completely transferred to Steemit and Tron. Among other data also in parallel to the coup is the detail that Tron and Steemit will not cede their power during the next weeks, I quote textually:
For the next four to six weeks, the Steemit team will use their voting rights to restore order in the community. At the same time, the team will be open to community representatives and witnesses. The objective of this campaign is to protect Steem Blockchain from bad actors, create transparency and take the advice of the community. Subsequently, the Steemit team will transfer the government to the community, provided that order and mutual agreement are restored.
This in a nutshell means that steemit will limit the use of his tokens to be able to recover from all this event and the great attack he has suffered, and with the right to vote refers to the weight of the votes we receive in our daily publications or the steem power that is used when voting the post of some other user or own, which applies equally to the communities of the platform.
However on March 3 Justin Sun in his twiiter has tried to defend himself against all the accusations, stating that all the drama and controversy and actions that have been seen in the blockhain are the work of a hacking or massive attack by hackers, and this It implies with the following tweet and followed by creating a specific thread giving explanations in several parts, I quote textually:
#STEEM has successfully defeated hackers and all funds are great #SAFU, @SteemNetwork and @steemit The community is now stronger than ever since we joined and resolved difficulties! Full details below👇
Steem successfully responded to hackers. The money of all investors is safe (#safu). (1/9) On February 22, some malicious hackers froze 65 million of #STEEM legally owned by Steemit, the main STEEM developers. When we found out, hackers already hijacked STEEM and threatened to override the existing STEEM. We had a difficult choice.
(2/9) We confirmed twice with lawyers and they told us that it was definitely a criminal activity of hackers who froze STEEM for more than 10 million dollars and threatened to destroy the assets. The risk of canceling the #STEEM network jeopardizes the interest of all STEEM holders.
(3/9) Such actions are against all aspects of the central value of humanity and the decentralization and sanctity of private property. We needed to act immediately to safeguard the blockchain and the #STEEM ecosystem when we still had the opportunity.
(4/9) We knew it would be a complicated process since we needed to control the network for a short period of time, but we had no choice. Our only intention was to ensure
@steemit
The participation of shareholders and holders of #STEEM. Our intention was not to control the STEEM network.
(5/9) We promise to withdraw the votes as soon as possible once we are sure that malicious hackers can no longer sabotage #STEEM and will return voting rights to the community. All votes of exchanges will be withdrawn soon. Greetings to all the exchanges and parties that helped us save STEEM!
(6/9) To prevent reprisals from hackers and protect network security in general, we had no choice but to keep our actions secret. However, transparency is our number 1 priority, so we share a post with details right after protecting the network.
(7/9) The misleading comments in which we collaborate with exchanges in a hostile acquisition are false. Our intention was never to take control of the network and the votes of all parties will be withdrawn. We wanted to protect the sanctity of private property and the interests of all against malicious hackers.
(8/9) We are dedicated to the continuous development of the
@SteemNetwork, bringing more developers, users and content to
@Steemit
and more rewards for community members. Super excited for the next roadmap
(9/9) My sincerest apologies to the community, to all exchanges and to various parties involved in this disturbing hacking incident. Thanks for your support
However, some people remain exempt from all this, since it is said that user funds were never in danger, however many people remain indignant with the official statements of steemit and that they do not change the dislike of this tron strategy at all and stemit, although all this controversy is giving much to talk about and is leaving many doubts and questions on the air, the truth is that all this has led to the resignation of Steemit's Chief of Communications and the Blockchain Development Chief who have Announced his resignations through his official Steempeak accounts, a platform that is not under the control of steemit, but nevertheless these publications can be seen visible on steemit as well, something that being objective represents complications for everyone in the end.
In short, Steemit is currently in trouble and it is in us to help her out of this, and make her recover her strength, I know that some like me have great faith in this platform and that more than a means of income has become part of the everyday and part of our daily lives, and that, like me, has changed the lives of many people by allowing them to generate real income by doing what they like and even sharing it with a community such as steemit, without ever or case as it happened to me, some bot tells you that steemit is under attack, do not think that there is a massive spam problem on the site, (which I personally do not deny that there is not sometimes), since at the end of the day We are all part of this site and it is within us to join forces and take care of it too, since although there are many things to improve on the site, we must also defend and take care of it so that it does not decay anymore and on the contrary make steemit to be again great again, and what do you think of all this ?, what solution do you think is the best to find a way out of all this ?, let me know in the comments, I would like to read the opinion of the users that follow me or the I am going to read this post, without saying more, I wish you a good morning, afternoon or evening, SadBear says goodbye Until another time❗🐻

SteemIt is gone and STEEM is being destroyed by a scumbag called Justin Sun. 🤢
Hey bro. Check out these two blogging sites, if you haven't yet. I signed up yesterday after all that drama that Bieber started the other day.
Publish0x and Upptrend
Thanks but I still hope Steem will survive this mess...
For now things look pretty bad, but I also agree with @Tricowski since I personally have enough work and time dedicated to this site since my beginnings, and closing or losing it would mean a huge loss of content for me, and I know that for many creators too, and although I also have my wordpress domain which I publish content, the fact of the fall of steemit I think is something that makes anyone very nervous.
It seems that Mr. Sun and his SteemTron witnesses have become their own dictatorship - even to the point of skewing the facts to mean what they choose them to mean ("hackers")... SteemPeak is already talking about forming a new chain - they have everything they need, pretty much, already... If we can't get all top 20 witnesses in place so that we can do what needs to be done, then this may be the only option remaining.
Undoubtedly, all this problem has brought a lot of controversy and Justin Sun has been quite cornered by all this controversy since in several places that I have read on the internet the accusations are more and more, although I certainly still believe that the creation of a new chain would be something serious for some users, Since much of the content that is created daily on this site has a lot of work and has many hours of preparation behind it, personally in my case I have files especially for my steemit blog that in some cases exceed the number of files of images with a number of up to 300 or higher, but for now we can only wish the best for the platform and that there is a viable way out of all this and give maximum support to the platform as well.
So bad that this is all happening :o
Not only for the platform, but also for users, since all our content made over time is directly here.
