My moon shot for steemit

Hello all and welcome to my moonshot post on this fantastic platform called steemit. I'd like to share another piece I carved last spring.

A crescent moon carved from a piece of scrap wood.

You can see my scrap pile is quite large, there were lots of chunks to choose from. I had help choosing..can you spot my dog Jorgie?

Less than an hour later, I had a moon with trees...chainsaw only.

Now for a quick detailing and paint...

Added a touch of glow in the dark paint for a nice effect

Finished and ready to hang on the wall.

A fun and quick carve, sold fast.
