I have trully been concerned and wondering about this. In case of the Philippines, if one is involved in a serious motor accident. Most hospitals will not cater for them unless hes insured of pays up front or something. I dont know why but i find this very brutal. But then again for them to have reached this decision, i am sure they have received foreigners without medical insurance and ended up with loss or something.

It's really depending on the insurance policy. I find some of the companies require us to pays a sum of money in advance and to be claimed later on. To counter back this kind of unethical business tactic, I would suggest that ones read carefully before signing anything with the insurance company.
