The Big Bang and the fate of the UniversesteemCreated with Sketch.

Nothing has caused more concern to human consciousness throughout the history of the world than the very origin of the universe. Has it always existed? Was it created from nothing? Will it be eternal?

How the idea of the Big Bang came about?

The universe that we know today is just an intimate part of what we have yet to discover, and despite the advances in knowledge, it is still presented to us as enigmas and mysteries. Even in recent years, the study of the origin of the universe was barely mentioned. For most of the history of physics and astronomy there simply were no adequate foundations, either theoretical or observational, to construct a consistent hypothesis about the origin of the universe.

Starting to answer the questions we have that the universe has always existed but not exactly as we know it. It is believed that the universe as such has an approximate of 13,800 million years, and reach its current state physicists determined that the universe had to go through a so-called large explosion, where then it was in a cooling state that allowed the birth of subatomic particles that later would be what we call atoms. The galaxies and stars were initially gigantic clouds that were derived from those atoms. While this is the most accurate theory of physics about the creation of the universe, it is more than likely that in the future it will be redefined by other physicists.

What makes this theory very clear is that the universe will never stop expanding, the only thing that will vary is the speed at which it does because if the density of the mass of the universe reaches its critical state again this one It would begin to collapse resulting in the so-called "Big Crunsh". In this way, if then, on the contrary, the density of the universe decreases then the expansion would only decrease its speed.
In simpler words: the universe is not eternal.
If the previously described conditions of collapse occur, this can lead to the end of it.

Very good!!!

I've always been very interested in this stuff. :) Since I was like 7 or 8... now I'm 60, and science, astronomy and astrophysics has come so far since then.
