Familiar sentences? If you use these sentences often, you just might have a habit of procrastinating. Now, procrastination isn't a bad thing, some things just can't be done now, and have to be put off for later. But when procrastinating is a habit, it becomes your undoing.

Procrastination has been known to be the No.1 cause of failure. For example, you recognize a problem, find out a solution to it, but you keep procrastinating on getting started with the solution. You realize that you need to change the game plan, but you keep putting it off for tomorrow.

Everything that happens in the world is being done now, in the present. The world is moving fast, and can't and won't wait for you. The only time to take action on your goals, dreams and visions is now. Whatever happens tomorrow is already determined by what you did or didn't do today. If you procrastinate and put off until tomorrow what should have been done today, then you have already decided tomorrow, which could only have been changed today.

"PROCRASTINATION IS THE THIEF OF TIME"
Procrastination is built through continuous inaction. Where there is no purposeful action, through Procrastination or otherwise, there can be no persistence, and thus no success.

To overcome this terrible habit, you have to realize that when you procrastinate,
a) you waste time
b) you miss opportunities
C) your life slips away, like grains of sand in the wind.

  1. Have a schedule and follow it strictly
  2. Make a to-do list and schedule a definite time to do them
  3. Be careful not to crowd your calendar with so many appointments that it is virtually impossible to make them all on time

PROCRASTINATION CAN BE OVERCOME WITH SELF DISCIPLINE
