Thanks for the comment @clumsysilverdad, sure you will enjoy the mung dal, and it's real easy to make. My friend Josh (Jashiela) used to spoil me with little bowls of it at the office when we worked together. One can also use a pressure cooker to cook the mung beans quicker, let me know how yours turns out :)
