LOOKING FOR NOTHING

in #ocd-resteem6 years ago

So, yeah, sick of sweet, over-saturated, long exposure sunsets over the waters. There is this kind of photographer who knows what he wants. I mean, he certainly has an aim. A structured, calculated, road. Who he follows to the last micron. And maybe right he is. I wonder, aren't you bored, at some point, to live in the loop of the same scene, over and over and over again? I just remembered the movie Groundhog Day. A must see.

I have no aim. I feel bad about it sometimes. Yet I feel good other times. I have the complete freedom to shoot whatever I want, not whatever the audience wants. While this is HOW NOT to be famous, it surely guarantees a certain feeling of integrity.

I am looking for nothing. At all.

nice photos and text! I really agree...these just seem normal real life, I suppose there is space for everything :-) happy to upvote.

Thank you. Indeed, there's some beauty in everything.

I´m not a very good photographer in blackwhite.. watching at your bw-work inspires me a lot to try it again.
I like your work, it´s imprinting.

Thanks a lot, that's flattering! I also watch your blog and admire your work on film.

Hahaha...that made me giggle. I feel the same way dear, and great photos btw!

Thank you very much! :)

Exactly.....black and white structure enhances the beauty of picture.

good photo, we also have pet duck goose, as a security guard to drive thieves. success always for you

hehe, gooses are the best guardians. Thanks!

Maybe that's why I love your pictures so much. You see what is out of sight for many others. You don't hold your breath until the sunset, to see the beauty.

Thanks, C! Well said about holding breath. There's a lot of beauty in between.

Oh cat e de misto seria asta! Resteemed

Merci mult, bro!

The is so much in nothing because everything comes rushing in the fill the void.

Ha, that's one hell of an interpretation, man. Thanks for the cool insight. I might use it to describe deadpan photos.

I hear what you're saying! I had to purge who I was following on Instagram the other day, because I was just too tired of seeing the same locations, same feet hanging over a cliff or out of a helicopter, same 35mm portrait, same A-frame cabin, same, same same...

You made me long for Portra colors, man. I am this close to buying a film camera. :) And, hell yeah, those Instagramish superflous photographs...

Great article catalincernat I'll defiantly looking forward to your series :D
