I sincerely hope that this is right action, and that it makes a difference. It seems many of things are on the west coast. It could be my imagination. Lately in California they are trying to criminalize homeless people by making it illegal to sleep in a car! I hope we can find a way to unite all over the United States and the world to fight the beast. Thanks for the share.
Oh man you just triggered a can of worms with me! And thank you for the thoughtful comment. If you look up a recent case called "Desertrain vs. City of Los Angeles" from the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals you will see that California has had their hands smacked multiple times for creating such legislation. The various cities of the U.S. that write these laws know very well that their laws are unconstitutional and that it takes someone with a lot legal support to fight and appeal these laws. So their thinking is that they will write an anti-homeless law that they can enforce for X number of years until it gets appealed. Somebody needs to win a lawsuit that actually awards substantial punitive damages to the claimant, and not just a repealing of the law.
Now, with that said, Occupy Portland (Wall Street) had nothing to do with homelessness. it was about bank fraud. That people connect the Occupy movement with homelessness and drug addicts is the result of successful government propaganda.
