Drawing development / Desarrollo ✏️

A loose and unmethodical drawing is made. The lineart focuses on long, fluid strokes, the colour palette is characterised by two or three soft shades with gradients, the shadows and brightness are made with low opacity and ends with a subtle blurring.

Se realiza un dibujo suelto y poco metódico. El lineart se centra en trazos largos y fluidos, la paleta de colores se caracteriza por dos o tres tonalidades suaves con degradados, las sombras y brillos se realizan con baja opacidad y se finaliza con un sutil difuminado.

Below is a series of images where you can see the progress of the drawing with their respective duration. Execution time of 4 hours. Each section of the drawing took an average of 40 minutes to complete.

A continuación, se muestra una serie de imágenes donde se puede observar el avance del dibujo con su respectiva duración. Tiempo de ejecución comprendido de 4 horas. Cada sección del dibujo tomo un promedio de 40 minutos en completarse.

We begin the drawing with a sketch, then we opaque the layer and we define the delineation of the drawing with all the details that compose it.

Iniciamos el dibujo con un boceto, luego opacamos la capa y definimos el delineado del dibujo con todos los detalles que lo componen.

With the marker we apply the base color to the skin, for the hair we use an ochre color, the eyes opaque yellow, and the lips a soft pink.

Con el rotulador aplicamos el color base a la piel, para el cabello usamos un color ocre, los ojos amarillo opaco, y los labios un rosa suave.

We make the background using different shades of oranges, tracing fluid lines in different layers to form the sands, and a circumference for the sun.

Realizamos el fondo usando diferentes tonalidades de naranjas, trazando líneas fluidas en diferentes capas para formar las arenas, y una circunferencia para el sol.

We go on to define the facial features of the character, such as the eyes, mouth, nose and eyebrows, in addition to adding blush to the cheeks.

Pasamos a definir los rasgos faciales del personaje, como son los ojos, boca, nariz y cejas, además de agregar rubor a las mejillas.

With the feather brush, we make at low opacity the shades and shadows in the different parts of the body, separating them in different layers.

Con el pincel pluma, realizamos a baja opacidad los brillos y sombras en las diferentes partes del cuerpo, separándolas en distintas capas.

Now to finish, using the airbrush, we make other layers of shadows and shines, applying this time the method of dark mixture multiply for shadows and light add for shines.

Ahora para finalizar, usando el pincel aerógrafo, realizamos otras capas de sombras y brillos, aplicando esta vez el método de mezcla oscuro multiplicar para las sombras y luz añadir para los brillos.

✴Bonus / Bono

As a bonus, the image was modified to a night theme, first applying a dark blue color to the background, then a low opacity top layer of the same dark blue, and erasing certain areas with the eraser in airbrush mode to obtain brightness.

Como bono se modificó la imagen a una temática nocturna, primero aplicando un color azul oscuro en el fondo, luego una capa superior a baja opacidad del mismo azul oscuro, y borrando ciertas zonas con el borrador a modo aerógrafo para obtener brillos.

The design of the drawing consists of a total of 25 layers, these are distributed in sections following an order or hierarchy for proper visualization. The following images show a summary of them grouped according to similar characteristics.

El diseño del dibujo consta de un total de 25 capas, estas están distribuidas en secciones siguiendo un orden o jerarquía para su correcta visualización. En las siguientes imagenes se muestra un resumen de las mismas agrupadas según características similares.
