Sublime Sunday ... Taking a Backwoods Hike in South Texas with the Family

Start of our hike in Dwight D. Eisenhower State Park. Daddy Bear stays behind to capture photo ( Below)

(Below) Near the end of the hike and they cleared up woods to the left. Not sure why ??
It was a gorgeous day...
70 degrees and partly sunny. We just had to get the kids out and enjoy the fresh air. Later we went to the Orange Leaf Yogurt shop and put back all the calories in our body that we lost from the hike lol ;)
We texans are fortunate to enjoy such nice weather this time of year :-D at least until the never-ending summer starts! I went on a long hike with a bunch of friends yesterday, too. Glad you were able to get out also!

Nice weather, we had a mini blizzard here last night.
The woody fence got me. Nice craft, resembles some done here in Kenya thou abit different. Creativity at a god level.
Looks like a beautiful day for a walk! You ever eat any of those cactus pear fruit? Hear they are pretty good!
I took a walk on Sunday too. It was much colder at around 45 degrees though. Nice shots. It looks like you had a great time! What a beautiful landscape!
