Bangali Cuisine in Traditional way!
Our Bangali cuisine is totally different from the world. We have so many different curries in our cuisine, I don't even have the chance yet to taste everything.
And when it comes to tradition, well it also has a lot of variety. The way we plate our dishes, the way we prepare food and the way we eat traditionally is really amazing to me.
Bangla New Year is one of the biggest events in our country- Bangladesh. This is the time we showcase our tradition through different cultural events and surely with food.
During the Bangla New Year, it's very usual to have rice with all the local dishes in clay made plate. Clay made plates of also part of our tradition but in modern life, we don't usually use it that much.
I have captured these images four years ago during an invitation to Bangla New Year. This is how my friend's Mom decorates the dining table to serve. It's amazing to look, no? Full of color, a touch of tradition and taste of local authentic flavors!
We usually live to have some food we don't get a chance to have over the year in this occasion. Like different smashed item with lots of spices, different local curries which takes time to prepare. And especially Fried Hilsha Fish. This is a must-try item during the occasion.
I hope you like my captures. If you want to share your food photography you can join the @qurator's Tasty Tuesday contest. Check out more on the link.

Hey, @rem-steem.
That all does look good, and I wonder if the clay dishes enhances the taste of the food any? I think food can taste different based on what they're put in, especially hot foods, so I'm interested to know if you've noted any difference.
I've not had a whole lot of curry—mostly in Japanese or Indian food—but I enjoy a lot of it. My wife is Mexican, so we have our own meals spiced up but with jalapeños or chipotle chilis. Different flavors, but still delicious.
Sure, clay has a different scents. I won't say it enhances the flavour but it tastes a little different when the food serves in clay made dishes.
Great to hear from you about your fooding also.
Thanks 😊
