Mine weather and get rewarded
There’s a cryptocurrency called weatherblock mining weather. But in case of weatherblock it was not easy for individual to get rewarded by retrieving weather data. Weatherblock uses special device called Bloomsky for transmitting weather information. However, observer can mine weather with various devices such as smartphone, automobile and mini weather station easily.
Also, in weatherblock miner installs device and weather information saved in network which would be traded by P2P method. But this special weather information device is prone to error which might save wrong weather information. This could deteriorate quality of weather data. Therefore, it is essential to have weather information retrieved anywhere with error correction mechanism. Observer is fast, easy and mobile when it comes to weather information collection. What makes observer so special is error correction algorithm(solution) which evaluates the validity of the weather data. We have filed patent for this error correction algorithm which enables us to collect valid weather information only. In sum, we can say that weatherblock is selling special device called bloomsky to collect weather data. However, observer provides comprehensive weather solution including hardware, software and weather science.
Anyone can build network work for everyone can participate weather forecast, by joining this network person can be rewarded by observer coin(OBSR) and observer right(ROT). We can use various devices such as smartphone, automobile(with OBD) and any mini weather station compatible. Any smartphone these days has thermometer and barometer installed. For temperature when smartphone is grabbed or put inside pocket data would not be correct, but pressure would be meaningful information.
Usage case 1 (Smartphone/tablet)
When observer app is installed, pressure information is captured routinely and OBSR will be rewarded automatically. Also, by cloudphoto taken and transmitted by smartphone at alarm(with interval) OBSR can be also rewarded.
Usage case 2 (Automobile)
With OBD installed in automobile connected via Bluetooth and observer app, location and weather information(temperature and pressure) will be transmitted regularly. OBSR will be rewarded by running vehicle.
Usage case 3 (Mini weather station)
Prototype launched. By connecting mini-weather station at home and office via wi-fi weather data will be automatically transmitted to observer network. OBSR will be rewarded simply installing weather device.
Currently, temperature, pressure, rain, PM, radiation and UV can be monitored.
For example, in case of Korea PM is important so weather station, so it would be meaningful to include PM sensor. For Japan, radiation is issue so radiation sensor to be included. For US, UV is important for skin cancer so UV sensor to be added.
Data transmitted to observer network would go through error correction/filtering algorithm(which filed patent) for more precision. In Sep’18, beta trial will be launched.
Previously, there was similar trial in Korea and UK Meteorological department for individual’s participation on weather data. However, due to the lack of compensation system of individual small number participated and failed. With this issue of compensation handled, Observer is building up perfect weather data platform. For example, private company or public organization in New work would like to buy 2018 weather information in New York. Respective companies and organization have to purchase OBSR via exchange and pay observer foundation for 1-year data. Then Observer foundation would reward additionally to contributor (owner of data) based on ROT. Due to the size of weather data market in US, we planned to start US business right after the test in Korean market.

ROT token : This is copyright token rewarded to the weather information generator. As long as ROT is saved in the wallet, OBSR is received when my data is traded. ROT can be traded P2P. (For those company needs weather data, they can buy data paying OBSR)
