Go to mixer.com, sign in with Twitter or Discord, copy streaming URL, start stream in OBS. That's it!
Following up on yesterday's quick and dirty review of youtube alternatives, I thought I would do a quick post to report yet another option for live streamers being hassled by YouTube and the like.
I realize Microsoft is at best a lateral move censorship-wise, and I'm not suggesting Mixer can serve as a substitute for how we used to be able to use YouTube, but the instantaneous signup-to-livestream makes it a great potential emergency option for someone who finds their live streaming capability suddenly and unceremoniously terminated by YouTube mid-stream (as I was thanks to a Jason Goodman copyright complaint),
I do think we can still gain immensely from these platforms if we think a little differently about how to use them (more on this in an upcoming post).

This has huge potential!
Especially if you could view these streams as imbedded videos in other sites from 1 consistent url. Very much like the Discord server invites. And the fact that you can sign in with Discord login makes this a no brainer. Check out @steempunkmedia if you get the chance.
