Trump vs Obama

Every morning before my kids wake up, I spend a few minutes, browsing news sites and social media sites to see what's happened the night before and this morning, some tweets caught my attention.

They were in response to a tweet made by Obama letting people know how they could help the hurricane victims. People saying how they miss him as a president of action etc.

I switched over to Trump's profile and it was basically like a new broadcast of what is happening.

It got me thinking about the completely different personalities. Obama is an empathetic, family guy who comes across and caring and approachable. The kind of guy who if you met him out in a club, you would be happy to go on a date with and possibly take home to meet your family.

Trump, on the other hand, reminds me of the guys in clubs who don't have much going for them - they aren't attractive, aren't intelligent and not very nice people and the only way that they can get girls is to brag about their money or how large their feet are. (and judging by the size of his hands, Trump's feet should be pretty small too.)

It saddens me that someone like that is in charge of a country who cares for very little other than his personal interests. Yes, I know that most politicians are about themselves, but at least most of them try to make things better for their country if not the world.

...and by the way, I'm South African - I won't start on our punk in charge...
