Say that stephen hawking died in 1985 and was replaced by a robot

That would mean that his most famous work, Brief History of Time, is not his own.

They say Stephen Hawking died in 1985 and was replaced by a robot.
Conspiracy theories are becoming more and more delusional and absurd. And a good proof of this is the most recent of all, which states that Stephen Hawking actually died in 1985, and has been replaced by a double or an animatronic. The father of such an idea is a character named Miles Mathis, well known on the Internet for his "investigations" into unsolved mysteries.

It is well known that the famous scientist fell ill with severe pneumonia in 1985, and that he expressed the desire that they stop treating him, to end his days. But his first wife refused and did everything possible to keep him on treatment, saving his life. And this is where Mathis' hypothesis starts.

According to Miles, Hawking never really recovered from that pneumonia. But NASA considered that the scientist was too valuable a character to let him die just like that, and that he could still be very valuable to them. So they reached an agreement with his family and instead of announcing his death, they decided to replace him. But by whom?

That's something Miles Mathis himself has no answer for, since it could be an actor or even a robot (we're inclined towards the second option). But anyway, the "researcher" explains that from that episode it was when Hawking began to use the complex technological system that allows him to reproduce his voice. Which actually serves NASA technicians to speak through their mouths without being discovered.

But the fact that Stephen Hawking is really dead has more implications. Among them is the fact that his most famous work, Brief History of Time, published in 1988, was not really his own, but that of some anonymous investigator of the space agency (note, write something like this down so that he can sign it and take away the glory of another, who is also dead).

Mathis has studied hundreds of videos of the scientist, and claims that he has discovered differences in the body and face of the scientist between the images before and after 1985 that, according to him, cannot be explained solely by the evolution of his disease. In addition, the fact that he has survived as long with a degenerative disease as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) would be further evidence in favor of his theory.

We would like to know what Hawking himself thinks of this idea.
