Guide to Manhattan: dinner at Joanne Trattoria

Joanne Trattoria - this cozy Italian restaurant belongs to celebrity star Lady Gaga's parents!

The place has a charming and discrete decoration, as seen in the video above, and, most important, delightful food!

For our entrée, my wife and I chose the Spinach Artichoke Dip, which was amazingly delicious; even though we were aware that the menu is signed by brilliant chef Art Smith, we weren't ready for such a savory plate! Also, an important remark: they sell their own wine, named by their daughter, lady Gaga - a very nice wine, by the way.

Since that is a family place, I chose as main course the traditional Joanne's Spaghetti & Meatballs, a balanced meal, which tasted incredibly well.

My wife, being more refined, had a most elegant pate: Sea Scallops & Cream. Wonderful!

Being myself a fan of the Godfather trilogy, I ordered, for our dessert, this lovely cannoli. Such a perfect night!

In our next time in Manhattan, I will certainly take the opportunity to buy some souvenirs at Joanne, such as a cook book and chef's hat (I just love gifwt shops!).
