The best snack anyone can choose from happen to be nuts, specifically almonds. There
are numerous benefits of eating all variety of nuts and seeds, but this article will focus on the
top reasons to indulge in almonds:

  • Full of monounsaturated fats which are purported and scientifically proven to reduce heart disease.

  • Great source of protein and energy.

  • Full of calcium for those of you who are dairy and lactose intolerant.

  • Full of the critical mineral magnesium, which is responsible for so many functions to keep your body healthy and
    strong, mainly normalizing blood pressure and keeping your metabolism healthy.

When consuming almonds, it is recommend to ingest unsalted or low-salt as well as raw/organic and dry roasted. Almonds can be used in numerous ways and are a great way of consuming few calories which keep you full.

Note: Always choose organic. They are more costly, actually significantly more costly but the worth the extra dollars. Nuts have natural oils on them known to turn rancid if exposed to air or light for too long. Your best approach is to keep them in the freezer and out of the light in a tightly sealed glass container. Also, another reason to go organic is due to the fact that nuts are one of the most sprayed trees out there, right after coffee plants.
