Tisha, filled with renewed energy

Speaking joyfully to The Daily Star over the phone, Nusrat Imrose Tisha emphasized that she couldn't take credit for her success, attributing it to the kindness of the audience and people who support her and her family.

Tisha has firmly established herself as one of the most adored actors in Bangladeshi media, whether it's on television, in films, or in commercials. Recently, she celebrated her 13th wedding anniversary with her internationally acclaimed filmmaker husband, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, and the photos of them wearing their wedding attire garnered instant attention for their warmth and chemistry. Their daughter, Ilham, also looked delightful. The humble star of "No Bed of Roses" expressed gratitude, stating that she owes every professional achievement and much of her personal life off-screen to her loving fans, considering them an integral part of her success.

Despite her film "Roktojoba" not receiving a full theatrical release this Eid, Tisha has been actively supporting other films that have hit the cinemas. She expressed her acceptance of the film's exclusive release on the iScreen platform, acknowledging the importance of exclusivity for the platform. Due to her commitments for the film "Mujib: The Making of a Nation," which required her to travel to India, Tisha had to complete shooting for "Roktojoba" in a short span of 12 days.

Tisha reiterated her support for the people in her industry, emphasizing that a thriving film industry can only be achieved through solidarity and mutual support. Despite her busy schedule, she expressed her intention to watch the Eid releases eventually, but at present, her priority lies in being a mother. Tisha pointed out that while some may desire to see her more frequently in projects, she is not entirely absent from the screen, thanks to her appearances in commercials and talk shows. Additionally, audiences can enjoy her work behind the camera, as she has taken on the role of a producer as well.

However, Tisha stated that she would fully dedicate herself to her career once she ensures the well-being of her daughter, Ilham. She believes she has a responsibility towards her child that takes precedence.

One of the highly anticipated films featuring Nusrat Imrose Tisha is "Shonibar Bikel" (Saturday Afternoon). Despite appeals from prominent personalities in the industry for its release, the film, directed by Mostafa Sarwar Farooki, remains in a state of uncertainty even after receiving clearance from the censor board. Tisha personally believes that the film doesn't contain anything that would harm the country's image.

It's worth noting that "Shonibar Bikel" has already secured a release in the US and Canada through Reliance Entertainment and CEPL.
