Mystery coins, does anybody recognize these, and how could I test them for silver?

Hello again,

Continuing to do some more research on the various coins I have been collecting, I will be exhibiting them here, in this format once or twice a week.

The coins I currently have in my collection probably range in dates from the early 1800s to the end of the 1900s, and they consist mostly of Bronze and Silver pieces from around the world.

If you find this topic interesting, then please read on.

Today, I have a couple of mystry coins!
I dont know if these are coins or tokens, or even if theay are real.
I have had these since I was a kid, so I know they are at least 40-50 years old.
The metal on both looks like silver in color, are non-magnetic, and seems to tarnish.
And that is about all I know about them.

For the top coin try this page. It looks similar to a couple on there. http://www.calgarycoin.com/reference/china/china2.htm#s-83

For the other coin try this one. Looks kind of like the Louis IX or dukedom of Julikh-Berg. http://muzeydeneg.ru/eng/?p=563

I didn't find any exact matches but these may point you in the right direction. Hope this helps.

Cool thanks, I've already checked out numista.com but I couldn't find a match. I will check out those links.

I am sorry, but I only recognize the first coin as a Chinese coin and that is because of the square hole.

Yeah, that's about as far as I got with identification. Though, I think it might be Korean from some of the examples I've seen.

I should add that the coins are about the size of a u.s. quarter, and also seem a little heavy for their size.
