[CR] Don't trust the Expert...

in #ntopaz5 years ago (edited)

From time to time you might look at older pieces that you made years ago...speaking of the one I'm showing you today it means 20 years ago...and in every time sequence it looks beautiful , only that each time you look at it later on, it's a different kind of beautiful...

It has something fascinating, especially when you have made the whole work with digital tools, mostly in Photoshop and you see about 60 layers before you. Now you can start to undress the work from it's finished status until the beginning and that's the real trip. Looking at the works with the eyes and mind of today is always enriching and you can easily "see" if you have learned something in the meantime.

It might even happen that I take over elements from past artworks into new works, something that I like about digital tools and a traditional painter has not the chance to experience. So, if someone is asking where I got this and that from, I just might say that I found it on memory lane.

Great work @whornung and I can not believe that this work has so many years, really impressive!!!

Certainly, each person has a different vision.

Hi Werner, it is amazing how the time flies, thinking 20 years back it is difficult to imagine that you have done this work digitally, especially background I would have thought that it is a canvas. Like the motif and complexity, as always fascinating with your fantasy and ability to express it so that the viewers also can stun seeing your fantasy work :)

...time goes by, may be because it has nothing else to do.

Your technique is something really special and easily recognizable. My Photoshop skills still mostly limited by color grading, but not serious manipulations... but maybe sometimes in the future

...the more you practise the luckier you get.

Noway.. it is not luck, its a talent :D

You are a master of chaos and order, always great combination of both. Love the composition and color of this artwork.
