Cactaceous plants
Hello friends of this beautiful community of @nTOPAZ!
Continuing with the cycle of this fabulous contest this is my participation # 2 in black and white photography.
This succulent plant belongs to the family of Cactaceae and, in great majority, thorny, known collectively as cactus or cactus. This family is practically exclusive to America.

Hola @wendyth16, me gusta la especie vegetal que seleccionaste para el concurso, desde hace años la uso como planta medicinal, especialmente porque convierte las piedras de los riñones en arenilla. Existen varias variedades, tengo entendido que pertenecía a la familia de las Agavaceae pero fue trasladada a la familia de las Asparagaceae y su nombre científico es Agave, mejor conocida como Cocuy de donde se saca el licor Cocuy, Fique, Maguey, o Cocuisa, de ella se sacan cuerdas para realizar zapatos, hacer mecates o el tequila mexicano
