Hello dear community, it is always a pleasure to be able to bring good quality content as far as handicrafts are concerned, especially what I like most is the soutache technique. I invite you to see these incredible earrings and give me your point of view.

Materials:

• P.O.P. Fabric
• Liquid silicone.
• White soutache thread (or of your preference).
• Silver rhinestones.
• Green bead for the center.
• 8 strass crystals.
• 4 small cream tassels.
• 2 cream tassels.
• Scissors.
• Yesquero.
  
  

Soutache

When we talk about soutache we immediately get images of extra large and colourful earrings, brooches and combs, adorned with crystals and beads; the jewellery of Soutache, so spectacular and fascinating, is associated with flamenco jewellery, with fairs, with Seville, with Spain.

History of the Soutache

Step 1:

• We take a rectangle of P.O.P. fabric and paste our green bead and add around 2 strips of our soutache thread, hopefully it dries.

• Then we proceed to place our piece of strass flush and end up pasting a cream tassel on top and close, as can be seen in the image.

• Next to our cream tassel, we place two rhinestones as we see in the image.

• Then we placed 2 strips of soutache around our strass below, see attached image.

Step 3:

• After placing the strips from the previous step, we proceed to place 2 rhinestones on the sides.

• Then we cut the fabric flush and hide the remaining strips behind and glue with silicone tightening well.

Step 4:

• We also cut the top and hide the remaining strips and shape it, adjusting back well defined. Thus we do with both tendrils and adjust final details for this part of the process.

Step 5:

• We make a separate design where we place a cream tassel and stick around 2 pieces of white soutache. See image.

• Then we stick that design on top of our earring. We fit tightly back and burn with a plasterboarder the surroundings very carefully.

Step 6:

• In this step we place the big tassel at the bottom and shape it into a fan.

• Then we cover with another piece of P.O.P. cloth, cut it flush and burn it again to finish.

The soutache technique is an innovation nowadays, it is used in different ways, here in my procedure I explain step by step what it was to assemble the earrings. When you want to look with an original and fashionable touch, you can not hesitate to have this beautiful accessory in your clothes.
